How will i clean my tropical fish tank?
Filed under GardeningOct 31Question by Billy-Joe: How will i clean my tropical fish tank?
I plan on getting a community tropical fish tank with my biggest fish being an angelfish (adult), when cleaning the tank what happen to the fish, do thy need a small tank or bags or something?Best answer:
Answer by John D
You never take all the water out when you clean it. You need to maintain the bacteria level and you don’t what to shock the fish. Every few weeks you should do about a 20-25% water change. Take out about a quarter of the water and clean all of the ornaments in the tank and change your filters and all that stuff. You also want to scrub the inside of the glass with a special scrubber you get at the pet store so it doesn’t scratch. Make sure you put chemicals in the tap water before you put it back in the aquarium to take out the ammonia, chlorine, and all that stuff.Give your answer to this question below!

Question by claireybearyfairy: Other then fish, what could I have in my tropical fish tank?
I’ve had tropical fish all my life (litrally) but have never actually experimented having anything but silly little fish. When I last went to the fish shop to buy a new pump they had a stingray for sale in the marine section and I just wished I could have something more interesting and exiting then fish for once. I know I wont be able to get a marine tank because they take a lot of work so is there anything interesting that I could have in a tropical fish tank?Best answer:

You could also put some water frogs in there. They will eat off of the bottom and are interesting to watch.Give your answer to this question below!

What to do on a tropical fish poster board?
Filed under GardeningOct 10Question by lovekillsslowly: What to do on a tropical fish poster board?
So, I need to make a poster board for reading class. My subject is tropical fish. Just a regular poster. I have no idea what to put on it. Any help for designs, information, or anything else?Best answer:
Answer by Trust Me I’m a Doctor ♥
Come on, you need to use your braincells here that is what schoolwork is all about. Basically you need some fish on your poster against a background of water and/or rocks and plants.Google images will help with photographs you can print out or copy/draw and name the fish underneath for the class to read. Maybe the country where the fish originate too? You have to put some effort in yourself. Surely you have seen a tropical aquarium somewhere so you know what they look like?
Popular tropical fish that people keep would be Guppies, Neon Tetras, Angel Fish, Cherry Barbs, Plecos, Corydoras, Louches to name just a few.
